In 2021, Perra Suerte participated with his first small batch in the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2021, the most important international event that rewards the best spirits, qualified by a selection of expert judges in the industry and in the participant category. We were proudly awarded with:

Double Gold Medal on Tasting, awarded to the entries that receive a Gold medal rating by all members of the judging panel in a blind tasting; these are among the finest products in the world, according with the contest criteria.

And the Best of Class in other Agave Spirits, the best example of this spirit type, being the most awarded raicilla in a single international contest.

We are proud that this distillate and the names of our maestros, from the mountain town of Mascota in Jalisco, have been recognized in this forum and with this reach. We acknowledge that one artisanal agave distillate is not better than another because of these merits, as each one holds a unique value and essence, stemming from the effort and work of many hands. The quality of an artisanal distillate is measured by the care of its resources, the maturity of its plants, and its traditional and sustainable processes.
